I know I fit the cliche stereotype, the Mormon housewife who really likes Twilight but that's the just way it is. I just like it. The books are casually written which makes it easy to read while keeping an eye on the kids. But, the real reason I like Twilight is because it is an escape. The Twilight world is quite similar to ours but it is enough different that it becomes a world that a lonely housewife can escape too for vampire adventure. And then when I come back to real life I see that my life is better than I thought. I have a husband who adores me and the best little boy in the whole world.
I'm glad you have a book that you have something to geek-out about. Following a book series or a tv series or the development of a movie is something I can relate to--and I think it's a lot of fun.
